This leads inland to the foothills of the western Troodos Mountains with Mount Olympus standing out in the horizon. The mountains are actually high enough to create some snow slopes so you can be on the piste and enjoy a winter break and then head down to the beach later in the day for your summer break, two holidays rolled into one.
